Split Second

This is the racing game I've been working on at Black Rock Studios.

Split Second

Found some test renders of the characters I made for Scared Silly.

Class 1 progress reel

Here's is 3 months worth of animation that I've learned from Animation Mentor, the online Animation school. It may not look like much, but it's been bloody hard work. Had a great Tutor called Jalil Sadool. He works for Weta, the guys that did King Kong and Lord of the Rings, so he knows a thing or two about animation.

I start class two next week, got a feeling it ain't going to get any easier.

Z-brush Grandad.

A few years back I discovered a package called Z-brush 2. I instantly loved it and decided to create some faces of people I knew. I wanted to try out someone really wrinkly so my Grandad was the obvious choice. I was never totally pleased with the render as back then I didn't have Subsurface scattering. I do intend at some point to re-do the render but this is as far as I got back in 2004.

some photos

I've decided to post up some photos I've done over the past few years. I've always like photography but never really had the time to really get into it.

Here are some pictures I'm particular fond of.

Me aged 8

I did a self portrait over Christmas. I haven't drawn anything for ages so thought I'd get my pencils back out. Plus it was a good way of passing the time over Christmas.

Seeing as this is all new to me

I might as well post up a short film my friends and I did over a weekend last year. It was for a sill film festival on a gadget site called Frebox. The idea was you had to create a 5 minute video, but in it you had to have one of their gadgets featured. We decided to do one based on a horror soundtrack they were selling. So all the music is based on the CD.
